Apple has officially announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 9 to June 13.
The event, which will once again be held online for all developers, will also feature an in-person keynote at Apple Park on June 9.
WWDC is Apple’s platform for unveiling its next-generation software, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS, along with new developer tools and frameworks. This year’s event is expected to be particularly significant, with reports hinting at dramatic software changes across Apple’s ecosystem. According to Bloomberg, iOS 19 will bring the biggest visual overhaul since iOS 7, marking a major shift in the iPhone’s interface and functionality.
Beyond software updates, Apple may also introduce new hardware, and speculation is mounting about a more advanced Siri with AI-powered enhancements. The company has remained tight-lipped on details, but WWDC has historically been a stage for major product announcements.
“Available for free to all developers, WWDC25 will spotlight the latest advancements in Apple software,” Apple stated in a press release. “As part of Apple’s ongoing commitment to supporting developers, the conference will provide them with unique access to Apple experts, as well as insight into new tools, frameworks, and features.”
With Apple’s increased focus on AI, user experience, and ecosystem integration, WWDC 2025 could be one of the most transformative in years.
