According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is working on an upgraded version of its Health app featuring an AI-driven health coach who will offer personalized wellness advice.
Gurman initially hinted at this development in 2023 but now reports that progress is underway.
The AI-powered health coach could debut as early as spring or summer 2026, coinciding with the release of iOS 19.4.
This AI assistant will analyze data from users’ medical devices to provide tailored health recommendations, including food tracking. Currently, Apple is training the AI using insights from in-house medical professionals and plans to collaborate with more doctors to produce educational health content.
Internally, Apple is referring to this initiative as “Health+,” though the name may change before launch.
