Google Chrome has rolled out a new picture-in-picture (PiP) feature for in-app web browsing.
This update allows users to seamlessly switch between apps and continue browsing webpages without losing their browsing session.
How it Works:
- Open a webpage within an app that uses Chrome Custom Tabs.
- Tap the new downward-facing chevron icon next to the back button.
- The webpage will shrink into a PiP window that floats above other apps.
- Users can interact with the PiP window or switch back to the full-screen webpage seamlessly.
Chrome’s new PiP feature is a welcome addition for Android users, offering a more intuitive and efficient way to multitask with web content.
