CoinStats, a leading platform for cryptocurrency portfolio tracking, has disclosed a major cybersecurity breach.

In an announcement yesterday on X, CoinStats disclosed that they experienced a cyberattack resulting in the compromise of 1,590 crypto wallets, which accounts for approximately 1.3% of all wallets hosted on their platform.

Users who discover their wallet address on the list and still have funds are strongly advised to promptly transfer them to an external wallet.

CoinStats has temporarily taken down its website and app while conducting a thorough investigation and implementing measures to mitigate the ongoing attack.

It’s important to note that the attack did not affect users’ connected wallets and centralized exchanges, thus it is safe for individuals to continue utilizing those services.
