Discord.io, a third-party service that allows users to create custom invite links to Discord servers, has confirmed that it suffered a data breach on August 14, 2023.

The breach exposed the personal information of approximately 760,000 users, including their usernames, email addresses, IP addresses, and Discord IDs.

The hacker, who goes by the pseudonym “Akhirah,” is selling the stolen data on the dark web. Akhirah claims that the data includes the Discord IDs of many high-profile users, including celebrities, politicians, and business leaders.

Discord.io has shut down its website and services in response to the breach. The company is currently investigating the incident and working to notify affected users.

If you use Discord.io, you should change your password and enable two-factor authentication. You should also be wary of clicking on links in messages from people you don’t know.
