Mozilla Firefox users experienced a frustrating hurdle yesterday when a recent Google reCaptcha update caused the popular anti-bot service to malfunction within the browser.
Reports indicate the script’s error stemmed from an attempt to modify a page element before the browser’s DOM (Document Object Model) had fully loaded. This premature action led to the script failing and reCaptcha becoming unusable within Firefox.
Google has fixed the issue.
