Google is bolstering its Chrome Enterprise browser offering by introducing Chrome Enterprise Premium, a new tier that expands security features and controls for organizations.

While offering increased protection, it comes at an additional cost.

Chrome Enterprise has become essential for many businesses, providing IT departments with centralized browser management and security tools.

The Premium version builds upon the existing robust security posture of the browser with advanced capabilities.

“Authentication, access, communication and collaboration, administration, and even coding are all browser-based activities in the modern enterprise,” said Parisa Tabriz, Google’s VP for Chrome.

Compared to the Core variant, Chrome Enterprise Premium is generally available for a monthly fee of $6 for each user and provides organizations extra security through various capabilities.
