Google is shutting down its Google Podcasts service in the U.S., leaving podcast listeners scrambling for alternatives.
As of April 2nd, the service will no longer be available in the US, prompting users to migrate to YouTube Music.
Google has said it’s part of a bigger plan to bring podcasts under the umbrella of YouTube Music, consolidating their audio services. It’s a move that makes sense in a way, considering that YouTube has become a hub for all kinds of content, podcasts included.
