Google is rolling out its new AI-powered app, Vids, which allows users to create video presentations effortlessly by simply providing a prompt.

This tool, driven by Google’s Gemini AI, comes with some exciting features. Vids can automatically add relevant stock footage, generate scripts, and even create AI-powered voiceovers, meaning users don’t need to record their own voice. Google highlights the app’s potential for transforming customer support articles into videos, creating training content, sharing company updates, delivering meeting recaps, and more.

The rollout of Vids began on November 7, with Google indicating that it may take over 15 days for the app to become available to all eligible users.

This gradual deployment will ensure that users worldwide can experience the tool’s benefits as it becomes fully integrated into the Workspace ecosystem.

By offering a user-friendly, AI-powered video creation experience, Google is positioning Vids as a versatile tool for enhancing communication, boosting productivity, and bringing dynamic content into everyday workflows.
