The Nepalese government is in talks to potentially lift the ban on the social media platform TikTok, which is currently in effect across the country.
Insiders at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat have revealed that the government is actively considering this move.
A source within the secretariat mentioned, “Although TikTok remains a platform with ongoing issues, there is growing public demand for the ban to be lifted. Discussions are focusing on the ways to regulate TikTok if the ban is revoked.”
