Meta is rolling out a new feature on Threads that lets users tag their location in posts, adding an extra layer of context to what you share.

If you’ve received the update, you’ll notice a small pin icon in the post composer, allowing you to tag your location. But don’t worry—this isn’t about pinpointing your exact whereabouts on a map. Instead, you can tag general locations like cities, neighborhoods, or even restaurants to give your followers a sense of where you are.

The cool part? If someone tags a location, you can tap on it to discover other posts from the same area. It’s a fun way to explore what’s happening nearby or in places you’re curious about.

Currently, this feature is only available on the Threads mobile app, with iOS confirmed to have it, but there’s no sign of it yet on the web version.
