Meta’s Threads has seen over 35 million signups in November alone, marking three consecutive months of over a million daily registrations, according to spokesperson Alec Booker.

Notably, 20 million of these came since November 14, adding to the 15 million previously reported by Instagram head Adam Mosseri.

Meanwhile, rival platform Bluesky has experienced a surge, surpassing 22 million users after adding 15 million earlier this month and briefly hitting a pace of a million signups per day.

Mosseri acknowledged that Threads’ recent updates, like custom following feeds and tests for default follows-only views, were influenced by Bluesky’s rapid growth. As competition heats up, both platforms are racing to win over users.
