By January 29, 13:44 EST, Microsoft reported that some users had regained access, and at 14:44 EST, the company confirmed that the outage had been fully mitigated. The issue was traced to an erroneous configuration change that blocked access requests. Microsoft reverted the change and monitored the system to ensure stability.

This marks another in a series of Microsoft 365 outages in recent months, including disruptions to Office web apps, Multi-Factor Authentication, and services like Teams and Outlook.
