The hackers utilized Gill’s “Roaring Kitty” handle to promote a fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme, luring unsuspecting followers into a trap.

The compromised account posted tweets promoting a fake crypto token giveaway, encouraging users to connect their crypto wallets to a malicious website. This tactic, known as a “wallet drainer,” aims to steal digital assets from unsuspecting victims.
