Nvidia recently lost its position as the world’s most valuable company to Microsoft following a 3% drop in its share price.
Nvidia was set to lose approximately $91 billion from its last closing market value of $3.34 trillion, dropping to the current level of $3.25 trillion.
Meanwhile, Microsoft’s market value also declined to $3.30 trillion, with its shares down 0.4% to $444.8 in afternoon trading.
Nvidia’s remarkable stock price growth, which nearly tripled this year, had previously propelled it to the top spot. However, the recent decline allowed Microsoft to reclaim its position as the most valuable company. Despite this temporary setback, Nvidia remains a dominant force in the technology landscape, with its cutting-edge products and strong market presence.
