Microsoft is giving Windows 11 users more control over their language with a new update to its voice typing feature.

In the latest Windows Insider builds (Dev and Beta Channels), users can now disable the profanity filter, allowing their voice dictation to transcribe swear words as they are, without replacing them with asterisks.

This new setting appears as a simple toggle within the voice typing settings interface. By default, voice typing censors profanity, often replacing words with inconsistent or incorrect asterisk counts. With this update, users can keep the censorship or let their full vocabulary flow naturally.

Alongside this, Microsoft is also enhancing functionality for Surface Pen users. The stylus button can now be configured to trigger the new Click to Do feature, which performs actions based on screen content, such as summarizing text or removing objects from an image.

These updates are currently in testing and expected to roll out to all Windows 11 users in the coming months, bringing more personalization and utility to everyday interactions.
