The company detected suspicious activity on February 5 and confirmed the possible data leak on February 6.

Details of the Incident

An internal investigation revealed that the breach involved NTT Com’s Order Information Distribution System, which manages service-related data for corporate customers. However, no personal customer data has been affected.

  • On February 5, the company’s security team detected suspicious logs from a device (Device A) within the Order Information Distribution System.
  • Immediate containment measures were taken the same day.
  • Further investigation confirmed potential data leakage on February 6.
  • On February 15, unauthorized access to another internal network device (Device B) was discovered, leading to its disconnection from the network.

As of now, 17,891 corporate customers may have been affected. The potentially leaked data includes:

  • Contract numbers
  • Customer (contract) names
  • Representative names
  • Phone numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Physical addresses
  • Service usage details
