Nvidia has released a new GPU driver update, version 576.02, addressing a wide range of issues that have affected recent Game Ready drivers.

This update follows a wave of user complaints about black screens, system crashes, and general instability, particularly after the launch of the RTX 50-series GPUs.

The 576.02 driver brings several key fixes, including stability improvements for Windows 11 version 24H2, a blue screen issue when playing DLSS 4 games with Multi Frame Generation, and random black screen errors. Nvidia also tackled game stability problems with DLSS Frame Generation in combination with G-SYNC.

Notable game-specific fixes include random crashes in Fortnite, a hang issue in Star Wars Outlaws when idle, crashes in Monster Hunter Wilds, and stuttering in Overwatch 2 when using VSYNC. The update also addresses problems in Hellblade 2, Control, The Last of Us Part 1, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

This driver release is significantly larger than Nvidia’s usual updates, spanning nearly two pages of bug fixes. It’s a response to the growing feedback from users experiencing issues since the RTX 5090’s release in January, with problems also affecting older GPUs due to DLSS 4 integration.

The 576.02 update also adds support for the newly launched GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU, priced starting at $379.
