Microsoft-backed OpenAI announced on Friday night that it is experiencing an issue causing its widely-used ChatGPT chatbot to go offline.
The company posted a statement on its website confirming that it is investigating the problem and actively working to restore access for users.
According to the outage-tracking platform Downdetector.com, over 19,000 users reported being affected by the outage as of 7:13 p.m. ET (0013 GMT on Saturday). OpenAI has now fixed the issue.
