OpenAI is expanding access to its powerful Deep Research feature, making it available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers.

Previously reserved for Pro users paying $200 per month, Deep Research is now rolling out to those on OpenAI’s more affordable $20 per month Plus tier.

The feature, which enhances ChatGPT’s ability to analyze complex topics and provide in-depth insights, will also be available to Team, Edu, and Enterprise users, according to OpenAI. This move significantly broadens the number of people who can leverage OpenAI’s most advanced research capabilities without the steep price tag of the Pro plan.


While OpenAI has not specified an exact timeline for the rollout, Plus users can expect to see the feature integrated into their accounts soon.
