Reddit is experiencing another wave of technical issues, following apparent outages from the previous day.
Many users are reporting that the site isn’t loading properly, especially when logged in on desktop browsers. Some encounter error pages, while others note slower-than-usual performance. However, the platform appears to load in incognito mode and on mobile browsers, even after logging in.
According to Reddit’s status page, the company acknowledged the issue at 7:58 PM ET, stating, “We’re experiencing an elevated level of errors and are currently looking into the issue.” Downdetector data shows a significant spike in outage reports, peaking at around 80,000 shortly after 7:30 PM ET.
Reddit has yet to provide an official statement on the cause of the disruptions. The latest outage follows a series of reported “international outages” on the platform, as tracked by internet monitoring service NetBlocks. While some users faced issues yesterday, others, including reporters covering the incident, did not encounter any disruptions.
