Reddit is currently experiencing widespread international outages, according to NetBlocks, a global internet monitoring service.

In a post on Thursday evening, the organization clarified that the issue is not linked to country-level internet disruptions or filtering.

Meanwhile, Downdetector has recorded a significant surge in outage reports, peaking at over 47,000 as of this writing. Many users on platforms like X, Threads, and Bluesky have also reported that Reddit is down for them.

Interestingly, Reddit’s official status page currently lists all systems as “operational,” making the extent of the outage unclear. The company has yet to respond to requests for comment.
