NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 mission successfully launched on Friday night, carrying four astronauts to NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 Mission, which is on its Way To the International Space Station (ISS).

This mission is especially important because it will bring back NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have been stuck on the ISS for nine months.

They originally traveled there on Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft in June 2024, expecting to stay only eight days. However, technical issues like thruster failures and helium leaks made it unsafe for them to return.

Now, they are set to return to Earth using the Crew-9 capsule and two Crew-9 astronauts. Their return is tentatively scheduled for March 19th.
