Tech billionaire Elon Musk-owned Tesla has issued a recall for nearly all of its vehicles on US roads. The recall, affecting over 2 million vehicles, comes after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) raised concerns about the safety of the company’s Autopilot driver-assistance system.
The NHTSA found that “Tesla’s unique design of its Autopilot system can provide inadequate driver engagement and usage controls that can lead to foreseeable misuse of the system.”
