Instagram’s Threads platform has introduced a new feature that allows users to schedule posts, as announced by Instagram head Adam Mosseri.

The scheduling option, which follows a recent testing phase, is now available to all users. To schedule a post, simply create your content, tap the three-dot menu in the top-left corner, and choose the “Schedule” option.

Once scheduled, you can manage your posts through the drafts folder, where you can view, edit, or delete them. Threads allows users to schedule posts up to 75 days in advance, although scheduling replies isn’t supported at this time.

In addition to scheduling, Mosseri revealed another new feature that lets users “markup” posts they reshare. This tool will enable users to draw, highlight, or annotate posts, making it easier to emphasize certain elements. The feature is being rolled out in select countries, with plans for a wider release in the near future.
