Threads is adding more than 1 million new users per day. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared the milestone during the company’s latest earnings call, revealing that Threads has surpassed 320 million monthly active users.
This rapid expansion comes just months after Threads launched as an alternative to X, drawing users who are seeking a fresh social media experience.
Meanwhile, Bluesky, another competitor in the decentralized social media space, has announced that it has surpassed 30 million total users, showing continued interest in alternative platforms.
Meta’s CFO Susan Li also highlighted that the company is actively improving Threads’ recommendation algorithms. “We’re working on some updates to our recommendation systems,” Li stated during the earnings call, suggesting that Meta is focused on refining user engagement and content discovery on the platform.
