TikTok is introducing automated labeling to flag content generated using AI tools, even those created on third-party platforms if they contain metadata tags indicating the presence of AI-generated content.
The move aims to increase transparency and aid in combating potential misinformation stemming from AI-manipulated media.
TikTok says it’s the first social media platform to support the new Content Credentials.
