The U.S. government has asked Apple to keep TikTok available on the App Store. Attorney General Pam Bondi sent a letter to Apple, telling the company to follow President Donald Trump’s executive order.

This order gives TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, 75 more days to sell the app.

According to Bloomberg, a similar letter was also sent to both Apple and Google earlier this year, just before they allowed TikTok back on their app stores in February.

The government is still concerned about TikTok’s links to China, but for now, the extra time gives ByteDance a chance to make a deal and avoid a full ban in the U.S.
