Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on April 30. The actor was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday morning. Rishi Kapoor was battling cancer since 2018, and was in the US for treatment for a year.
The actor’s brother, Randhir Kapoor, told the media on Wednesday night that he was admitted to the hospital due to his health deteriorating.
In February, Kapoor was hospitalised twice due to his health issues. He was first admitted to a hospital in Delhi where he was attending a family function.
At the time, Kapoor had said that he was suffering from an “infection”. Kapoor, who has been quite active on social media, hasn’t posted anything on his Twitter account since April 2.
