X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, has introduced a new AI-driven feature: Grok-powered question prompts.
These clickable questions are designed to help users engage with posts more deeply by providing instant answers generated by xAI’s Grok chatbot.
How It Works
The feature appears on select posts, offering pre-written questions such as “What does this mean?” or “How does this impact [topic]?” When clicked, Grok analyzes the content and delivers an AI-generated response. The goal is to make complex or important posts easier to understand while encouraging discussion.

Critics have described the prompts as unnecessary and visually distracting. Some have even called them an “eyesore,” particularly when they clutter the interface without adding meaningful value. Many users feel the feature could be more effective if it were limited to posts with educational or newsworthy content.
