YouTube is rolling out a game-changing feature for creators: the ability to test multiple thumbnails simultaneously for a single video.

Dubbed “Test & Compare,” this tool will allow creators to upload up to three different thumbnails and YouTube will distribute them evenly to different segments of their audience. The thumbnail that drives the highest watch timeshare will be declared the winner.

This announcement comes as a major relief for creators who have long struggled to optimize their video thumbnails, a crucial element in attracting viewers. While third-party tools have offered similar functionalities, YouTube’s native solution promises a seamless and more reliable experience.
