YouTube Music is taking music discovery to a new level with its latest feature update.

Android users can now search for songs simply by humming, singing, or whistling the tune into their phones.

This innovative feature, aptly named “Hum to Search,” aims to solve the age-old problem of having a song stuck in your head but not knowing the title or lyrics. By leveraging advanced audio recognition technology, YouTube Music can identify a song based on your humming and present you with a matching track or a selection of similar songs.

The feature is easily accessible within the YouTube Music app’s search bar, marked with a microphone icon with a musical note. Users can simply hum for a few seconds, and the app will work its magic to find the song.
