YouTube TV has officially reached a deal to keep Paramount content on its platform, just days after signaling potential disruptions.

The streaming service initially warned users about a possible loss of channels, but an update soon followed, confirming that CBS, CBS Sports, Nickelodeon, and premium add-ons like Paramount Plus, Showtime, and BET Plus will remain available.

On February 12th, YouTube TV stated that if Paramount content became unavailable for an extended period, it would offer affected subscribers an $8 credit. However, the following day, the company revised its statement, announcing that negotiations had been extended. Now, with a new agreement in place, YouTube TV has not disclosed specific terms or any potential impact on pricing. When asked on X (formerly Twitter) about possible subscription increases, TeamYouTube responded, “We take these decisions very seriously & will be sure to communicate any potential changes in the future before they happen.”

This development follows YouTube TV’s recent price hike in December, which raised the monthly subscription fee by $10 to $82.99. This adjustment aligns with industry-wide trends, as competing services like Fubo, Hulu Plus Live TV, and Sling TV have also increased their rates amid the ongoing shift from traditional cable to streaming.
